London International Awards has a new competition, Creativity In Business-to-Business, and its inaugural jury has been chosen, led by Eka Roula, chief creative officer of Nitro Group, Helsinki.
Roula is one of the most awarded Finnish creative directors, both nationally and internationally.
He stated, “In the long history of sales and marketing, not a single company has ever bought anything from another company. The decision has always been made by people. That is why creativity has rushed into the world of Business-to-Business communications. It’s a sheer honour to chair this category at the prestigious London International Awards. The times are long gone when B2B stood for Boring-to-Boring. Emotional storytelling and the smartest of marketing techniques have rushed into the world of Business-to-Business communications. This category at LIA will be an exciting experience for both the jury and the whole industry.”
Creativity In Business-to-Business will applaud outstanding creativity in the advertising and promotions of products and services that are purchased by businesses for use in their operations.
On introducing this new competition, Terry Savage, chairperson of LIA, stated, “When introducing any new category into LIA, we are extremely conscious and aware of the relevance of that category, with B2B there was never any doubt. It is not only relevant, but long overdue. We look forward to welcoming Eka, the entire jury and equally look forward to publishing the results as the judging happens live in Las Vegas.”
