D&AD Impact matters. “D&AD Impact seeks to identify and celebrate great, transformative, creative ideas that have had real impact and, ultimately, contribute towards a better, fairer and more sustainable future for all.”
Impact was launched last year by D&AD and Advertising Week. Its 60+ judges handed out 87 black, white, graphite and wood Pencils to products, campaigns and initiatives that made the world better.
Two black Pencils were awarded to:
- Grey Canada for Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America (MDA)

D&AD Impact is now accepting entries for 2016 until July 14. Enter here.
Any project, product or initiative that seeks to build a brand or business by having a positive impact on the world is eligible to enter – entire business concepts, business initiatives, marketing campaigns, public/community projects and products (both physical and digital products such as apps and software).
Final judging will take place on September 25 during Advertising Week in the US. Awards will be presented at the D&AD Impact Awards Ceremony in New York on September 26.
