Timing is everything, so MAW Communications’ launching a Sam Kekovich ad one day after The Monkey’s newest MLA lamb campaign is genius. The ad is for a brand of measuring tools, Crescent Lufkin. Gaining attention for that is a tall order.
Kekovich may only have a two-second cameo in the new lamb ad but every new lamb ad still evokes the Kekovich heritage. Plus, MAW has used his hallmark delivery style and Aussie-passion as the spokesperson in its ad. In the film, Kekovich urges Aussie tradies to support Australian manufacturing and keep their eye out for those on the job site who simply don’t measure up.
The new ad is part of Crescent’s Does Your Mate Measure Up? campaign.
