It’s even more frustrating when the glitch is not your fault.

Internet connection instability can ruin your play, can even cost “a life” in fast-paced games. If the connection is poor, commands aren’t sent quickly enough, leading to game over.

To highlight Frontier Communications’ connectivity capabilities, McCann NY and Zombie Studio reminded gamers of their worst angst with a whole lotta fun – a battle between a knight and a seemingly invincible dragon. The knight tries to deliver his strikes, but before he can send the commands, the dragon has already attacked.

“The fantasy world was entirely created in computer graphics (CG), and we filmed the live action at the end. With these techniques, we brought humour and lightness to an annoying subject—when the internet simply doesn’t work. The idea is to show the impacts of not having a good internet service, using gaming as an example in this case,” stated Paulo Garcia, co-founder and creative director of Zombie Studio.
