Tinder’s new campaign, an extension of Tinder’s It Starts with a Swipe platform, is a series of romcom scenarios – a realistic modern-day twist on the movie genre currently having a popularity renaissance
They make you go ahhh like all good romcoms, but they’re not like they are in the movies. The videos are inspired by real life first messages of couples who met on Tinder and are currently in relationships. They’re reminders to a Gen Z that is falling out of love with hook-ups, that love doesn’t happen like it does when Hollywood writers script it, and that it can happen on Tinder.
The three spots star Gossip Girl actor and skateboarder, Evan Mock, and actress and YouTuber, Lana Condor. The campaign is runinng globally across digital and streaming platforms.
