Here’s another way to present Ikea’s Wonderful Everyday, this time from Mother London.
It’s a story about ghosts. Traditionally, they wear white sheets. And in Mother’s story, they’re rather dull even when they’re having a party while the owners are out. But when a group of ghosts in fabrics of colours and patterns turn up at the door, they party vibe begins. And when the house’s owners return, the colourful ghosts morph into cushions, curtains and rugs, to liven up the room in a different way.
The ad, which was directed by Dougal Wilson through Blink, and post produced by MPC, has also given birth to a full-length music video, featuring the brand, Teleman, in which Ikea’s textiles transform to the beat of the music. The video is running on YouTube and in Instagram Stories.
In Australia, The Monkeys has just produced its newest (autumn) Wonderful Everyday TVC under the platform The Best Day is the Everyday, directed by Jonny & Will at Blinkink.
