In August, Australian indie, Bastion, merged with US indie network, BUNTIN. The Bastion Group name remains in Australia and New Zealand, but in the US, the merged company is called BastionBUNTIN. The two entities are fully integrated nonetheless and are touting their “modern indie model” with upside down advertising. Literally, upside down.

The campaign, Upside Down Under (cheeky reference to the Aussie roots), features billboards in Los Angeles and BastionBUNTIN’s home base, Nashville, that have been turned upside down. Executives and employees at the agency have also flipped their LinkedIn profile images upside down, extending the work across digital channels.
Grabbing attention even more is a own 1-800 agency advice helpline, for marketers and creatives “affected by a holding company”, a 24-hour direct line to a new perspective on today’s agency landscape.

And a social film encourages people to dial the number.
