A new day, another worry. A deadline, a client, a difficult project, a terrible teen, wars, money…the weather. Meditation brand, Imeditate, wants to unshackle Ausses from their tenfold increase in worries and concerns and Justin Ruben’s Oblong Creative has launched the campaign to help them do that.
Negative thoughts, no matter how small, plague people’s mind, leading to overthinking which can have a negative impact on their health. Research shows that 88% of things we worry about actually don’t happen and if they do, they’re a lot better than were anticipated.
The campaign from Oblong uses disappearing type as a visual metaphor for your worries disappearing when you use meditation. The campaign consists of outdoor as well as water bottles and T-shirts, that are being used as a direct marketing tool handed out to nearby offices as a way to encourage them to give it a try.

“This campaign is aimed at showing that everyone can benefit from meditation,” stated Gabrielle Martin, manager for Imeditate. “Small things that may seem trivial can overtake our thoughts and stop us living life fully. We want to help stop this. We love the work Oblong has done, putting a modern slant on the world of meditation.”

Justin Ruben, CCO & founder of Oblong, added, “We wanted to give Imeditate a modern look and feel and move away from the hippie vibes associated with the world of meditation. We feel the type and colours combined with the modern subject matter achieves this.”
