The Coca‑Cola Company has a new global Coca‑Cola campaign, The World Will Wait, designed to inspire people worldwide (and especially Gen Z and Millennials at the demanding career plus busy home life stage) to pause the rush of modern life and reconnect over the timeless joy of shared meals. The campaign launched on August 3 with two commercials, Laptop Face and The Most Important Meeting, that used easy music and twists on everyday scenarios to trigger emotion.
But in APAC, the work got exciting. Ogilvy Singapore and Ogilvy Thailand used sharper humour and a more committed stroke of the surreal to question Thailand’s famously hardworking culture. The Dentist and The Cable Guy, directed by Factory01’s Wuthisak Anarnkaporn, go to hilarious extremes.
