Mondelēz International has awarded 72andSunny the global creative duties for Oreo as well as its biscuits in the US.
It’s bad news for Omnicom, that also lost Jaguar Land Rover to WPP this week. Omnicom’s Martin agency previously held the US account. Publicis Groupe, previously held the rest of Mondelēz’s US biscuits portfolio and will retain local activation responsibilities for Oreo across international markets as well as global biscuits. WPP manages confectionery in the US and chocolate globally. It was not part of the review and retains its share of the account.
