Aotearoa has the most dramatically beautiful places on Earth – to take a poo. And Kiwis can win a trip to poo there. The fiendishly clever idea by Pitchblack Partners is sweeping bowel cancer awareness resistance away for Bowel Cancer Awareness Month with a fun travel offer (versus the usual symptom lists and scare tactics of its category). The campaign offers Kiwis the chance to win a trip to Aotearoa’s most scenic loos, standing out in the current crowd of health messages fighting for attention.
Bowel cancer is one of the deadliest cancers, yet when it’s detected early, more than 90% of cases are curable. Despite this, awareness remains alarming low, with a common misconception it’s a disease that affects older people. Just one in four New Zealanders can identify a symptom.

Poo with a View gives Kiwis the chance to win a trip to one of Aotearoa’s most scenic toilets, simply for getting to know the signs their bodies are giving them.

To enter, Kiwis simply complete the quick symptom checker at www.poowithaview.org.nz. They will learn the key symptoms of bowel cancer to look out for, while going in the draw to win the ultimate scenic toilet trip.
