The world is experiencing very tough economic conditions. In Australia, charitable donations are significantly lower. But the needs of many, especially those in the world’s war zones, are higher. Pol and Bacon director, Martin de Thurah, have a created a graphic film to highlight those needs for Save the Children. It’s a heartbreaking tale of the power of imagination.
After surviving an explosion, two children cope with tragic circumstances by escaping into a fantasy world of their own. The film merges the harrowing depiction of life in a war zone with a dreamy universe, highlighting the ever-present need for Save the Children’s humanitarian aid.
The film is running online and on TV in the Netherlands and Norway.
