Blake was pretty but Petbarn’s Mr Sweaters is 100% loyal.
The Petbarn Foundation puts good people and great pets together. That’s good for both pets and people. In fact, it saves rather a lot of pet lives.
On Valentine’s Day, The Petbarn Foundation holds a Pet Dating event. This year, Pet Dating will take place in 120 Petbarn stores throughout Australia.
With Petbarn playing matchmaker, people can go on a mini-date with a number of cute and cuddly animals that are looking for new homes.
That’s where The Catchelor series comes in. To get everyone in the spirit of finding the ‘purrfect match’, Petbarn’s PR agency, PPR and its in-house production team, PPR Production, has produced the two-part online video series.
The Catchelor – Part 1, introduces Mr Sweaters, a cuddly tabby with an adventurous streak and a penchant for afternoon naps. He is looking for his perfect pet parent.
In Part two, Mr Sweaters meets three pet parent hopefuls. “But has he found ‘the one’?
Part one launched on January 28 and has been featured on Petbarn’s website, YouTube channel and social pages. It had already achieved move than 33,000 by Feb 11. Part 2 launched on Monday February 9. It achieved more than 9,000 views in two days.
Scott Charters, director of the Petbarn Foundation commented, “The Petbarn Foundation is dedicated to ensuring every animal has a loving place to call home and Valentine’s Day is the perfect to time for us to talk to those who are thinking of adding a furry friend to their family. Through this campaign, we hope to encourage more locals to come in and meet some of the gorgeous pets that are up for adoption and save a life.”
