Good hearing isn’t high on most people’s list of concerns. Amplifon and New York agency, Small, are showing people in Italy and Spain how much good hearing matters. The campaign, that aims to raise awareness about hearing loss and the importance of prevention and care, features real Amplifon customers who are surprised by messages from loved ones during a hearing test. The emotional impact of being able to hear well is patent.
The campaign films were directed by Cadman and produced by Indiana Production.

According to the World Health Organization, approximately 1.5 billion people worldwide currently live with some form of hearing loss, a number expected to reach 2.5 billion by 2050. In Europe, 56% of people with hearing loss have never taken a hearing test, and only 30% get tested annually. Data shows that hearing loss is increasing globally, fuelled by demographic trends, underscoring the essential role of prevention and awareness. Various scientific studies also reveal a close connection between hearing loss and cognitive decline.
