Aussies were stuck at home for most of last year. Did the smell of the rubbish bin, a flatmate’s B.O. begin to be constant – and unwelcome companions?
What if you could rent a bottle of the purest Tasmanian air – to clear the air at home? The air in Tasmania is the cleanest in Australia. In fact, it’s the freshest in the world. Aussies can. It’s a very cute promotional campaign for appliance rental company, Snaffle.
Snaffle Air is the newest product in the Snaffle range, an aerosol housing pristine Tasmanian air. It was developed in close collaboration with Snaffle’s intrepid social ambassador, Hannah Hokarari, who managed to bottle several jugfuls of the freshest air known to humankind while guiding white-water rafting trips down Tasmania’s rugged Franklin River.

“Now being rolled out nationally, Snaffle Air was developed to support city-dwelling Australian families seeking to let a much-needed breath of fresh air into their homes – and restore some balance to their lives in the process,” the company noted.
According to Snaffle chief marketing officer, Paul Winslow, “We’re very excited to be launching Snaffle Air into the Australian market. We’re regularly consulting with our customers to gain their valuable feedback on new products they’d like to see – and we’ve listened. We’re excited that we’ve finally got our product onto the shelves and into our clients’ waiting lungs.
“Throughout the pandemic, Australians have been spending far more time at home. Unfortunately, homes in major metropolitan areas are becoming more congested as a result, with common odours from bathrooms, kitchens, and a variety of strong-smelling residents. We believe Australian families should be able to breathe a sigh of relief when they arrive home – not the smell of last night’s dinner or the armpits of a seldom-seen housemate,’ said Winslow. ‘Snaffle Air provides the cleansing solution to these pungent problems. Along with our more traditional products, it makes any house a home.”
Snaffle Air is processed and bottled at the company’s sparkling new Launceston facility. This innovatively refreshing product is available exclusively for rent via the Snaffle website for $19.95 per month.
