The time for United Colors of Benetton to come to the fore is now. Surely. The brand that promoted inclusiveness, acceptance and one love long before brands dared to associate themselves with these movements has been very quiet of late.
However, Paola Delgado Cornejo, a Miami Ad School graduate (and young creative who has chalked up an impressive resumé of experience at top creative agencies throughout the world), has created a spec ad for Benetton. An ad that also shows her understanding of how brand positioning works.
Cornejo sent her Benetton work to The Stable over the weekend. Her ad instincts are so good. She and copywriter, Rhea Kumar, have also created their own case study. Here is their work:
