Pharmaceutical advertising finds its funny bone and classic “print” advertising shows off its power in a campaign called Shituations by TBWA Perú for Phillips Milk of Magnesia.
The campaign aligns the laxative effect of stressful moments with the effectiveness of the world’s most famous laxative. According to medical studies, it’s the sudden release of cortisol that makes your digestive system go into high power when you’re confronted by forgetting your passport, deleting the wrong file or being taking off piste in an Uber.
