Vietnamese streaming service, K+’s campaign isn’t an overload of the shows that can be watched. Instead, it’s a surreal story about the well-known dread – missing out on the conversation. The campaign by The Friday Vietnam, dramatises the social consequences of missing out on the latest content with some very funny visual metaphors representing “fading into the background”.
The film is set to Beethoven’s dramatic Symphony No. 7, and is accompanied by an interactive activity where non-subscribers can be rescued by generating AI-powered film posters of themselves as popular characters while receiving subscription offers. The full campaign covers television, cinema, and digital platforms throughout Vietnam.
The campaign marks a shift for K+, a joint venture between Canal+ and Vietnam Television (VTV), which is expanding beyond its roots in premium sports broadcasting to position itself as a comprehensive entertainment platform with blockbuster movies, Asian drama, children’s programming, and Original Series productions.
