The Martin Agency introduced Snoop Dogg to Dolo Stove, US maker of fire pits, last year. The agency had a stunt in mind. Snoop appeared to ditch his famous penchant for weed in the social stunt, Snoop Goes Smokeless. Its tongue-in-cheek humour was as viral hit.
So Snoop Dogg is back, and this time he is accompanied by old-school sidekick, Warren G. There is no innuendo in this commercial. It’s called Blunt Marketing and, boldly, the pair get very straightforward about their job – selling Solo Stove’s fire pits.
“Look. Y’all know I’m the king of the buzz. But now I’m all about being blunt,” Snoop states in the spot. “And I’ll be even more blunt—I’m here because you’re more likely to buy this fire pit because I’m Snoop. Facts.”

The full campaign includes video, digital, social, influencer, audio, search, performance and retail running across high visibility programming and channels including Thursday Night Football, NFL Ticket, The Voice (Season 26, starring Snoop Dogg as a coach), TikTok and Amazon making it the largest campaign the brand has launched, incorporating three new product launches.

“This campaign dares to cut through the smoke in a way that only Solo Stove can deliver,” stated Luana Bumachar, chief marketing officer of Solo Brands. “With Snoop Dogg bringing his inimitable style and charisma to this campaign, we are not just pushing boundaries — we are defining them. We brought Snoop back in an entirely new way with a deliberate nod to how brands engage influencers to promote their products. This isn’t just marketing – it’s blunt, direct, unapologetic and entertaining. And we’re confident in this approach, because we know our products deliver every time.”
Also included in the campaign is limited-edition merch, including a Snoop x Solo Stove Fire Pit, custom fire rings and surround lights. Plus, if consumers buy a Bonfire or MesaXL, they can win some exclusive Snoop Dogg gear such as a hat, hoodie or water bottle.
