Reassurance. That’s exactly what you need when you’re making a major purchase. And that’s exactly what The Monkeys has tapped into in its campaign for the new Holden Commodore.
The campaign, For Sure, is a typically “Monkeys” [read: unexpected, interesting and memorable] way of advertising a family car.
The campaign lets people know that the Commodore is a sure thing through the recollections of a new Commodore owner, who smiles at the times in his life when his choices have been questioned. The brand film also aims to run over any outdated perceptions about the car model and the Holden brand.
The film was directed by Stephen Carroll at Revolver and is running in several versions from 60-second to 6. The campaign will feature in broadcast, print, OOH, digitally, and on Holden owned social channels.
Holden executive marketing director, Mark Harland, commented, “We’ve got confidence that the all new Commodore range will deliver for Australian families; and we’re excited our new campaign ‘For Sure’ brings that to life.”
The Monkeys co-founder and group chief creative officer, Justin Drape, added, “The future of Holden and Commodore is something we’re proud to be a part of. Commodore is one of Australia’s most iconic brands, and is rich with so many remarkable stories pertaining to innovation and design.”
