A big bang up, crowded, chaotic Christmas. No-one has had one of those for years and Argos is reminded Brits of the wondrous fun they’ve missed. The retailer’s Christmas campaign by The&Partnership, tells its audience, They’re coming. Be ready, with a gorgeous dollop of exaggeration by director, Gary Freedman, that captures the festive excitement of the season.
Argos’s Christmas 30-second spot went to air in The UK on November 9 across ITV and Sky channels as well as social. Four different 10” edits are also expected to run across TV and on social towards the end of November.
Rob Quartermain, head of marketing campaigns at Argos, stated, “We know how difficult the last few years have been for everyone, so we really wanted to bring a smile to viewers faces by highlighting the fun and comedic moments of Christmas get-togethers, along with the unique experience of being able to bring everyone, from all ages and backgrounds, to share a wonderful Christmas together at home. This year’s advert really aims to celebrate that moment, and how Argos has everything you need to make this Christmas truly special.”
