Australian creatives, Douglas Hamilton and Chris Cheesman, have a message for the COP26 delegates:

(English translation) Dear Scomo, Boris, Biden and the rest of you Clan of Numpties (that’s Glasgow slang for idiot). Welcome to COP26. Remember you’re not here for your holidays. You’re here to save Mother Earth by keeping global warming to 1.5 degrees. How? By cutting your nonsense and your carbon emissions. By taking action instead of talking and doing nothing. For the sake of our planet and every creature that walks, swims, flies or crawls on it.
And there’s a lot more than the message. The pair have created a tartan from real climate data. It shows the temperature rise in the world’s regions on a latitude and longitude grid.
“So the whole world can see yer pattern of negligence,” the pair explain.
That it’s a first goes without saying. That it matters does too.

Here are three of the numpties and why people’s voices matter. (More numpties here.)

Do your bit. Don’t rely on the numpties. Take the pledge to look after the planet, here. But also share the tartan and its messages far and wide. Maw earth says thank you.
