Understanding builds acceptance. Uncommon Creative Studio and ITV are helping understanding of Muslim culture to grow in the UK with a campaign to mark Eid.
As the sun began to set on Friday evening, April 24, ITV marked the significant moment of the final sunset before Eid began with a film that celebrated the end of Ramadan and the start of Eid for the Muslim community in the UK.
The film shared a moving message voiced by well-known ITV content creator and YouTuber, Chunkz. Against a backdrop of sunsets, the film takes a moment to appreciate and thank all the Muslims that shape our country. From doctors to newsreaders as well as all those in the community that quietly donate millions to charity during Ramadan — an act some of us are unaware of during this period.
This important moment for the Muslim community was also celebrated across OOH on sites up and down the country, also coinciding with the sunset on Friday.

The film and OOH include an adaptation of ITV’s logo including the crescent of the moon as the dot of the letter, I, to celebrate the beginning of Eid.

The logo design was created by Uncommon in collaboration with ITV Creative.
