Bankwest’s animated characters return to explain the bank’s account bucketing service, available via its app, which helps customers control their finances.
The campaign by WPP AUNZ’s Union, shows off the easy-to-use money management features of the Bankwest app in its characteristic less bank-like way – multiple account opening, account nicknaming, shuffling and goal setting.
Dean Hunt, creative director, commented “Using the tagline, less fussing with your finances, the new campaign idea supports Bankwest’s brand position of Less Bank and gives a nod to the ‘bucketing’ trend by showing how much easier it is to do with the Bankwest App.
“Plus, we get to meet Bryce’s dog, Barker.”
The campaign is made up of two 30-second TVCs, which are running on free-to-air TV in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney. Digital activity is served programmatically and social media includes a combination of Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat activity. The campaign will run until the end of October.
