Ahead of the go-go-go party season and at the end of another hectic year, Diageo whisky brand, The Singleton is inviting people to join The Singleton Slow Club devised by We Are Pi, the antidote to chaos where people saviour a single moment uninterrupted.
The Club’s first uninterrupted moment was and invitation-only IRL event in Amsterdam dedicated to relaxed, ‘slow’ socialising. The event called Slow Sounds took place at CUE restaurant in Amsterdam on October 24. Slow Sounds was the antithesis of the algorithm’s ‘fast food’ approach to music, celebrating music as the artist intended.
The event featured renowned DJ Elias Mazian taking the audience on a journey through five tracks that hold personal meaning to him. Each track had its own cocktail created by a renowned mixologist, transforming sound into flavour. The multi-sensory experience was designed to help people slow down, immerse themselves fully in the moment, and appreciate the art of music in its entirety. Content from the event will also appear on social media channels.
Anabel Kaneva, Diageo culture & entertainment manager, The Netherlands, stated, “In today’s fast paced world, time is the new luxury. This campaign is a reminder to truly savour every single moment and what a better way to do so than with The Singleton.”
Rick Chant, ECD at We Are Pi, said: “In our thumb-scrolling, fast-forward existence, taking a moment to actually savour life feels almost rebellious. The Singleton Slow Club provides a way to take time out, savour the good times and raise a glass in defiance of the chaos.”
