April Fool’s Day is more special at Wieden + Kennedy than anywhere else. It’s W+K’s birthday, or Founders’ Day, as the agency calls it.
This birthday, W+K made a big fuss about itself.
It revamped its website, for one day only, as a tribute to W+K.

33 pieces of its best creative from the 80s and 90s were dusted off and put on show.
Philadelphia and Portland staff had their names (and pics) in the spotlight.
And an early promo video – with a lot of content by a much younger Dan Wieden and David Kennedy – contains gems like, “What’s good advertising? I don’t know.”
