The Lisbon International Advertising Festival’s 2019 Young Lisbon contest for young creatives has secured a sponsor that underlines the festival’s eye on the future. Galp is a brand that operates a sustainable and efficient energy mix while constantly exploring new opportunities. It operates in 11 countries and exports its products to over 50 nations.
Submissions for the Young Lisbon competition for advertising students and young professionals between 18 and 30 are already open.
In the 2019 edition of the Young Lisbon, Galp calls for the participation of all young people who want to give new energy to their career, challenging them to create a sub-brand and a digital campaign to position the brand in the younger segment.
In response to this briefing, participants should also present in a creative way, how this new sub-brand will be present at universities and college parties.
This brief is related to Galp’s Employer Branding area although its main goal will not be related to recruitment, but rather to change the way that young people perceive the brand and how they interact with it.
Ana Firmo Ferreira, chief executive officer of the Lisbon Awards Group, stated “It’s important that strong brands with such good energy as Galp also give their energy to this new generation of advertising professionals.”
The detailed brief is now available on the official website of the Lisbon International Advertising Festival, as well as information to help participants fully understand the Portuguese youth, their aspirations and how they interact with Galp. The application process is entirely free and online here.
