The Snapchat Young Lions competition searches for the brightest young talent in the communications industry to represent Australia at the 2019 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
That’s a damn fine opportunity to shine in front of the world’s top adpeople.
Entries are open to teams of two young advertising, media or marketing professionals at the start of their career. They must be Australian residents currently or have a valid Australian work permit, be participating in the industry and be 30 years old or younger, ie. born on or after June 22 1989.
This year’s competition will cover three Young Lions categories – digital, marketing and media – and two rounds to the competition.
The first round is an untimed response to a challenge or brief and responses. It must be uploaded online via the awards portal.
The second-round tests how our finalists hold up under pressure. Entrants are given a fresh brief and just 24 hours to come up with a response. Teams must present their creative ideas to a live panel of judges in Sydney.
The winning teams will be sponsored to attend the Cannes Lions Festival June 17 – 21 The winning teams will be sponsored to attend the Cannes Lions Festival June 17 – 21 2019, to participate in the global Young Lions competitions as Team Australia.
Winners of the global competitions will receive free registration and accommodations to attend the following year’s festival.
