Wouldn’t it be disappointing if Santa took your presents to the wrong address?
As part of its Chrissy campaign by Y&R Melbourne, Australia Post is reminding people to redirect their mail over Christmas so that every card and present gets where it should.
And Y&R has done that in the most memorable way possible. The video below is one of a series of informational messages, starring Australia Post staff – and sung to the tune of a popular Christmas carol.
The full campaign is running across TV, outdoor, digital and social, led by a 30 second TVC, This is Christmas, that puts Australia Post’s role in making Christmas work in the spotlight, and features Shipster, Australia Post’s free shipping membership service that launched last month.
Megan Hair, head of marketing at Australia Post, noted, “Christmas is our busiest time of year so we wanted to focus our efforts entirely on our customers and our role within their lives. The creative work represents a great evolution of last year’s highly effective campaign and we’re thrilled with the results.”
