Troublemakers is a French production company with design at its heart.
Joshua Harvey is a designer and director, who has crafted animated films for clients big and small. But the has also filled many roles in the last decade. He writes, animates, and codes to realise his vision in detail. His curiosity has recently branched out into non-linear storytelling, VR and interactive design and gaming.
“This multidisciplinary background has gifted him with a unique language that bridges the gap between the creative and technical dialogues of film-making. A language that enables him to raise the level of craftsmanship across all aspects of his projects.”
The production company that says of itself, “we embrace curiosity, precision, freedom, excellence and dreams,” is “super proud” to have Harvey on its books.
Harvey gained his finesse and his reputation at Psyop where he was an animator, technical director, designer and art director for nearly four years, and Buck where he rose to become creative director. He co-led, designed and animated films there for clients like MTV, Honda, Telstra and ChildLine.
He has a large collection of international awards including Clios, LIAs, and ADC Designism. In 2013 he was named one of Young Guns’ Top 30 Under 30.
