In 2013, The Martin Agency entered Clouds over Cuba, its interactive multimedia documentary for The JFK Presidential Library & Museum, into all the usual awards. It became the most-awarded digital campaign in the US. Included in its cache were 3 D&AD Pencils, 11 Cannes Lions, five One Show pencils, ADC gold and an Emmy.
2013 was perhaps the agency’s finest year, But it has had 50 years and has created a wonderfully crafted anniversary site to celebrate that achievement.
The site’s design is built around the idea that a thread runs through everything it has done, from its early years as a local Virginia shop to national success and then global expansion. It is a showcase of the agency’s standout work from 1965 to today.
If you love great advertising, this is the site to explore.
The Martin Agency in a nutshell:
“We are over 500 employees from 23 countries. We are creatives, UX planners and number crunchers. We are mustaches, fixed gear bikes and cardigans. But we are also Jeeps, top 40 lists and the occasional selfie.”
“We pride ourselves on creating and living by a culture of good and tough. We’re good to each other and tough on the work.”
