The Underdogs are back. And in this Apple at Work episode, they are ready for their first-ever trade show, Container Con, with a fiendish strategy that depends on securing the attention of the buyer, Trev Smith.
A rival company threatens to steal The Underdogs’ thunder until Windows crashes. Which is why the film is called BSOD (Blue Screen of Death). Apple is firing a poison dart at a Microsoft problem from last year, caused by a faulty CrowdStrike security update and affecting millions of systems.

Mac users are unaffected, and The Underdogs’ Mac, iPhone, and iPad come together to save the day for the chaotic foursome. The Underdogs meet potential clients, win new business, and even lend a hand to get their rivals back up and running.

“What you’re witnessing is a classic PC failure as tragic as it is predictable,” Apple noted in its YouTube preamble.

The story was created in-house at Apple and directed by Object & Animal director, Bertie Ellwood.
