Booking.com, has chosen 72andSunny Amsterdam as its global creative agency of record, following a competitive agency review that began in June. 72andSunny has won the account from Zulu Alpha Kilo, that had held the position since 2023, and one other review finalist, AMV BBDO.
72andSunny Amsterdam will lead creative and strategy to unlock a new chapter in the Amsterdam-based digital travel company’s mission to make it easier for everyone to experience the world. The agency will create a global brand platform in its first work with the brand, that will launch in the beginning of 2027.
“As travel continues to evolve, our mission remains simple: make it easier for everyone to experience the world,” stated Jess Valade, global head of brand at Booking.com. “72andSunny brings the creative ambition to help us bring that mission to life with the energy and optimism at the heart of our brand. We’re excited to shape the next era of the Booking.com brand together.”
Booking.com was launched in 1996 as a small Dutch start-up. Its innovative technology investments and diverse offerings of accommodations from homes to hotels, flights, car rentals, and attractions, has fuelled its growth into one of the leading global travel and accommodation platforms over the past three decades. Now it is available in 45 languages and offers over 32 million accommodation listings across the globe and partners with companies of all sizes, from established brands to emerging entrepreneurs.
“Booking.com plays an incredible role in helping people experience more of the world, and we’re excited to partner with them to bring our creativity, energy and ambition to that opportunity,” stated Hollie Loxley, managing director, 72andSunny Amsterdam. “The best work comes from aiming high, staying curious and having the courage to do things differently, and we can’t wait to bring our competitive spirit to help Booking.com build a brand platform that drives growth while having fun along the way.”
