Yes, press now, means press now. The deadline for the Australian Creative Excellence Showcase (ACES) is today, Friday March 13. Click here to enter.
Do you need to enter? Here’s Val Morgan’s answer that question:
“Great talent deserves recognition, and that’s why we are calling for best Cinema or TV ad entries that have aired over the past six months.”
The ACES are 100% about (and behind) locally produced creative. Your next client may well be watching.
Ad they’re held twice a year, with previous winners like BMF’s Like Brands. Only Cheaper campaign for Aldi and Saatchi & Saatchi’s Calling All the Heroes for Toyota setting the bar high, to make sure your win is a prestige one.
Grant Rutherford from Publicis Mojo commented, “Australians are a creative bunch in a time where there’s never been more pressure on creatives and agencies…. Right now it’s the time to recognise creative.”
Daniel Hill from Val Morgan added, “Here at Val Morgan we understand the importance of great local creative; nothing looks better on the big screen and we are proud to continue to support and showcase the industry through the ACES.”
Andrew Dowling, managing director of Y&R Group Sydney, is chair of the ACES jury made up of:
- Grant Rutherford: national executive creative director, Publicis Mojo
- Ben Coulson: executive creative director, GPY&R Melbourne
- Derek Green: executive creative director, Ogilvy Sydney
