If you can say fuck in a TV commercial without being censored and show a ripped nude bloke shaving his balls, Åkestam Holst NoA and Lyko have an absolute winner of a campaign on their hands. Otherwise, they will just have to rely on brilliant humour and so sharable moments inside people’s heads. If this campaign doesn’t make an impact, the advertising industry has a problem. It’s everything engaging commercials need to be.
The campaign, Everyway is Okey (sic) is Åkestam Holst NoA’s first campaign for the online beauty giant, playing with people’s insecurities when it comes to style and looks, aiming to rip up the playbook on what’s hot and what’s not.
Joakim Khoury, Creative Director at Åkestam Holst NoA’s, explained, “It´s all about just rolling with the feeling you have. In short, no more does and don’ts. Just does and does.”
“You can´t go wrong if there is no right. That´s the essence of the campaign, and I think it’s a nice positive message to put out the world,” added Lisa Vaccino, art director at Åkestam Holst NoA.
The TVCs are supported by outdoor, digital, radio and in-store and the campaign will run in several Nordic markets.
