The Communications Council has announced the first set of finalists in the 36th AWARD Awards – in Digital, Radio, Branded Entertainment & Content.
Leo Burnett Sydney has 12 finalist positions in Radio, far more than any other entrant. The agency had given Diageo 10 chances for a win and Samsung two.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has the most finalists positions in Digital with its 5: two for Drinkwise, and one each for Mars, NAB and The Wheeler Centre.

Havas Worldwide Australia and VML Australia have 4 in Digital and M&C Saatchi’s Clever Buoy has 3.
Ripcurl Search, VML, finalist in Digital
cummins&partners and Whybin\TBWA Group Melbourne both come top of the finalists tally in Branded Entertainment & Content, with 3 each.

The jury chairmen in each of the categories were: Tim Buesing (Reactive) for Digital, Ralph Van Dijk (Eardrum) for Radio and Pat Baron (McCann) for Branded Entertainment & Content.
The awards presentation event will take place on Thursday 19 March at Sydney Town Hall, in Sydney.
