Chow Kok Keong (aka KK) is leaving Innocean, where has been chief creative officer for the last two-and-a-half years.
The #1 most awarded creative in Indonesia across five consecutive years, KK returned to Jakarta in 2022 to spearhead a creative overhaul of the agency. He had been regional executive creative director at Hakuhodo for nearly three years, managing the Asia Pacific region while working between Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. His strategic leadership and creative vision were instrumental in elevating the agency’s creative profile, and driving growth for clients in Indonesia, Singapore, and more.
Chow Kok Keong commented, “Two and a half years ago, I joined with a burning ambition to transform this three-year-old in-house agency. With persistence and internal support, I focused on fostering deep client relationships and showcasing our creative excellence across Indonesia and the region.”
Under his creative leadership, the agency achieved great results, including winning Indonesia’s first and only D&AD Yellow Pencil, for Project #YellowCanteen, along with two Graphite Pencils and two Shortlists. The agency rose an all-time high ranking of #2 in Asia and #29 globally in the D&AD 2024 Rankings, a first-ever within the INNOCEAN network.
Chow Kok Keong has taken home more than 260 international awards including 5 D&AD Pencils, 4 One Show Gold Pencils, and numerous awards at Cannes Lions, One Show, Clio, LIA, Spikes Asia, ADFEST, New York Festival, MAD STARS and Effie Asia.
“Together with my team, we were committed to delivering impactful results for the agency. It’s been an exhilarating journey filled with challenges and hard work. Now, after a rewarding yet exhausting period, I look forward to taking a long-overdue break to recharge and spend time with my family before my next chapter begins,” Chow Kok Keong noted.
