Cresta Awards has announced its 2024 winners, including seven Grands Prix and 45 Golds.
“This year’s results perhaps mark the beginnings of the industry returning to creative confidence, after the Covid years and the economic challenges,” commented Lewis Blackwell, CEO of Creative Standards International, the organisation that runs the Cresta Awards. “We’ve seen the most Grand Prix that our jury has awarded for several years and also quality in depth, from around the globe. Our distinctive judging system, with absolute standards, comparable across years, means we can clearly see that this year’s terrific jury found more to get excited about and to reward at the higher levels.
“This is definitely a positive. We might even hope that it could herald a new creative age for advertising. Across our winning entries we see an incredible mix of big ideas that range from the really simple, with low-budget executions, to complex campaigns with innovative technology and large teams of talent working brilliantly together. It’s a truly inspiring body of work.”
