Dazed Media’s Dazed Club has launched in Google Play. The app, that launched in 2024 (in the App Store), is already home to 15,000 next-generation creatives, and a talent pool for new hires, a collaboration hub, plus a direct line into the creative industries.
The free platform is open now to Android users worldwide for the first time, making its community and opportunities genuinely global, marking a significant step towards its mission of breaking down barriers for emerging creatives. With Android accounting for more than 70% of global mobile users, this expansion responds directly to demand from Dazed’s global audience of 18–25-year-olds, ensuring inclusive access to its world of opportunity.
Jack Sunnucks, creative director of Dazed Club, stated, “Our mission has always been to build a truly global creative network, and with Android powering the majority of devices worldwide, this launch makes that vision a reality. We’re breaking down barriers to entry. Now, any young creative, anywhere in the world, can join this community, connect with collaborators, access life-changing opportunities, and make their mark.”
The app’s key features are:
- Connect & Collaborate: Discover and work with like-minded creatives across the globe
- Showcase Work: Build a dynamic profile and upload films, images, and portfolios links
- Access the Industry: Join curated groups, receive advice from industry leaders, and respond to project briefs from Dazed and its partners
- Unlock Opportunities: Attend events, join workshops, apply for paid jobs and secure creative grants
In the past year alone, Dazed Club has unlocked high-impact opportunities through partnerships with leading global brands, institutions and festivals. Highlights include:
- Fashion, Style and Sport: Co-hosting exclusive member events, competitions and opportunities with Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, Nike, Puma, Samsung, Spotify and Red Bull Racing alongside access to How I Became, a regular educational series featuring speakers including Jawara Alleyne, Alexander Fury, Anna Meacham, Imruh Asha and Katie Grand.
