For everyone who has flown somewhere by plane – and in the northern hemisphere especially everyone who waited for hours in boarding lines and airport halls this summer – Honda France and DDB Paris have captured footage that will strike a chord that sings loudly. The Bored Cam (shot inside Paris Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport) shows bored people in an airport, followed by a single sentence, Travelling isn’t about waiting to arrive…
…and in the campaign accompanying web film, it presents an alternative view of travel – the freedom of a Honda motorcycle.
Photographer, Ale Burset, provided the stolen instants that were transformed into striking portraits, broadcast live on DOOH screens across the airport, accompanied by the Traveling isn’t about waiting to arrive message.
The full campaign covers digital, film, case study, and the trade press. The daring motorcycle campaign shines a spotlight on the mindset that has always driven the brand and through it Honda France and DDB Paris reaffirm the brand’s leadership in the world of two wheels and its ability to allow people to experience travel differently.
