Need short form content for mobile and social media? The Source is counting on that. The platform for snackable content, created in 2017 to help brands and agencies discover and collaborate with talented creators specialised in mobile formats, has become the first French Creative Facebook and Instagram partner.
“Nowadays, brands must think of new ways to rapidly captivate viewers’ attention as well as new ways to create creative content to reach their clients. Facebook’s creative partner platforms, like The Source, accompany marketers in the creation of their mobile campaigns, from beginning to end. Only companies that meet our highest standards of innovation and engagement obtain the Facebook marketing partner badge,” stated Gauthier Peter, France & Benelux global partner & ecosystem development at Facebook.
The Source’s 10,000 pieces of content are chosen because they’re impactful and original. They are organised in a simple and structured marketplace of vertical videos, 10 second videos, stop-motion videos and cinemagraphs – the work of more than 1000 creators around the world.
To promote its new style of content, consumed more and more by mobile users, The Source has launched the Snackable Content Awards, rewarding the best of branded content and the creators behind them worldwide. And it has assembled a top tier jury, whose members come from every corner of the industry including Lacoste, We Are Social, Altmann + Pacreau, Adweek, The Drum and Design Week.

Entries are open until March 7.
The Source facilitates the procedure of finding artists, viewing their digital portfolios, negotiating prices, processing payments and establishing brand coherence and rights, which can often be sources of significant friction.
“My mission when founding The Source, based on my agency experience, was to facilitate and partially automate those processes to more easily permit the search for top “mobile” creators, in order to give agencies and advertisers a new production tool, adapted to market needs,” explained chief executive officer, Fabien Gagnot.
Since its launch in September 2017, The Source has acquired over 20 clients, including agencies like Marcel, We Are Social, McCann and l84, and brands like L’Oréal and Pernod.
