The Global Awards World’s Best Healthcare & Wellness Advertising 2015 is open for entries until July 31.
Healthcare & wellness advertising has spread its wings and so the awards programme that spotlights the world’s best has also.
There are three new categories this year:
Best Use of Media: Technology:
Wearable tech, augmented reality, smart tech apps, patient-generated data…all fantasies a few years ago. Part of everyday life today. There is also technology on the horizon that will take the industry’s personalisation of diagnostics, treatments, and preventative measures & actions for healthcare professionals and consumers even further. Best Use of Media: Technology is the category that will applaud the innovation and creativity that is leading the future of technology in health and wellness.
Advertising to the Consumer/Patient: Promotional Marketing
This category recognises the creativity used to build a direct relationship with the consumer or patient via patient learning programs and patient instruction. It will also applaud stellar creative work in CRM (customer relationship marketing), CSR (corporate social responsibility), brand reminders, brochures/annual reports, corporate identity, and product launch.
Business to Business: Self Promo
This applauds those who have excelled in the hardest ad job of all – agency and corporate self-promotion campaigns. It will identify outstanding creative execution and strategy for self-promotion campaigns including talent recruitment, new business, and awards.

Our new categories support the goal of the Global Awards to recognise all the diverse industries creating works for healthcare and wellness communications.”
Jury members for the Global Awards Executive Jury and Grand Jury are recruited from more than 20 countries on 6 continents. The jury selection process ensures that each entry is judged by top creative minds with a global understanding of healthcare & wellness advertising.
The Grand Jury’s online judging sessions are augmented with live judging sessions around the globe to review digital work and collateral materials that support a campaign and which cannot be judged online. These live sessions, hosted at prominent international healthcare communication agencies, allow jurors to examine in detail multi-page works, including sales kits, direct mail, brochures, point of purchase displays, and annual reports.
The 2015 Global Award winners will be announced in December 2015 at awards ceremonies in New York City and Sydney Australia.
