Thai creative agency, Wolf BBK, added to a wealth of well-deserved applause for its unexpected humour and off-the-wall creative ideas this week. Uncle KFC won the Grand LIA in Branded Entertainement. The agency has also launched a subsidiary, the digital PR & influencer marketing agency, Flow Bangkok. Flow Bangkok has kicked off with a campaign for new city-sized retail destination, One Bangkok, that suggests the new agency will continue its parents’ tradition of creative thinking that stands out from the crowd.
The campaign, Back from Bangkok, aims to evoke curiosity and intrigue. The 90-second hero commercial, Back from Bangkok of Bangkok, features 500 actors of various ages, genders, and professions, and minimal dialogue (2-3 spoken lines)., encouraging audiences to visit One Bangkok Retail and discover the mystery behind the campaign. There are no product or mall shots in the commercial. In each scene, a crowd gathers, eager to ask about something mysterious. The effect heightens the curiosity of the audience, making them want to discover the answer. The unspoken message is that ONE BANGKOK Retail will be a place that offers a memorable experience for everyone.
“The challenge today is to create curiosity among Bangkokians and people worldwide, to highlight the uniqueness of One Bangkok Retail, an experience like no other,” stated Flow BKK. “Have you ever visited a place that no one has been to before? When you return, people always ask, ‘How was it?’ That’s the feeling we want to evoke in viewers – the curiosity and the desire to visit ONE BANGKOK Retail.”
