Wouldn’t it be nice to snuggle under a blanket and watch a movie – on a cinema screen? Red Rooster thought so.
So Val Morgan and Bohemia made it possible. Pop up stands have been installed at cinemas during September, handing out Red Rooster branded blankets.
Inside the theatre, Red Rooster is talking directly to cinemagoers by directing them to the nearest Red Rooster location. Val Morgan’s Brandfit Productions is producing 100 localised tags to play adjacent to the 30 second brand spot…
…which is very clever considering one in five cinemagoers will be hunting for somewhere to eat as soon as the movie is over.
Anna Jones, marketing manager at Red Rooster commented, “We see cinema as the ideal environment for Red Rooster, it’s a planned social occasion for consumers to take time out of their busy lives for themselves. We wanted to deliver a little TLC by enhancing an already relaxing experience and adding something special.”
Philipa Murphy, Val Morgan’s Brandfit creative services manager added, “Cinema can provide mass audiences through key content and add in a brand experience beyond the 30 second spot. Geo targeted campaigns provide less wastage and a more relevant message when out of home and in a retail environment. “
