Grey Group Australia has been scouting overseas for digital talent to hoist it to the level of Grey Group Worldwide.
It has found Josh Harvey and Cohan Banfield, who have become designers for the creative team in Sydney and strategic planner, Matt Simms.
Paul Worboys, chief operating officer of Grey Group Australia, noted, “The appointment of this terrific trio, with their abilities centered around digital creativity and thinking, will take our product to a new level. The digital work and thinking coming out of Grey is of a very high standard and is integral to everything we produce.”
Digital designer, Josh Harvey, specialises in UX & motion graphics, and has been lured to Grey from Spinklr UK where he created visual experiences for Heineken, Sony, Cadbury and global gaming giant, Zynga. Harvey will be responsible for developing integrated and interactive experiences across mobile, web and social media.
Cohan Banfield is a multi disciplinary designer with experience across print, photography, web and online media. Banfield is skilled in motion design, and his film project, RAW The Movie, was the winner of Best Cinematography at the New York Surf Film Festival.
Matt Simms joins from Bite (UK and Hong Kong) where he led digital, social, data and content strategy development for clients including FedEx, Tencent, Verizon and 21st Century Fox. Simms will be responsible for Grey’s digital and social planning, working with Grey Sydney’s newly appointed national planning director, Danish Chan.
