Another Calvin Klein ad has captivated US attention. Puerto Rican rapper, Bad Bunny, aka Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, follows Jeremy Allen White, Justin Bieber, Idris Elba, and FKA Twigs into the Calvin Kelin hall of fame wearing nothing except a lot of tatts on his very ripped torso.
And Gut Miami has seized the moment to make insurer, Progressive, stand out. The campaign features ads on trucks stationed near the larger-than-life distraction in new York and Miami, that remind motorists to keep their eyes on the road, not on the body. Clever copy includes, “less staring, more steering,” “eyes on the road,” “thirst trap ahead, proceed with caution” and “coverage for even the hottest distractions.”
A video teaser references chisme (that’s celeb gossip, if you were wondering) influencer, Jaxx, in a post discussing the likelihood of Bad Bunny causing “a lot of wreckage on the road”. (Jaxx’ March post is below.)
