FIFA is being hyper-vigilant about its World Cup sponsorship rules. The Santa Clara Levi’s Stadium has been renamed the San Francisco Bay Area Stadium, for example. And people have been hired to tape over the brand names of any non-sponsor product at the games.
Heinz is a major victim. Heinz bottles of ketchup, mustard, soy sauce and hot sauce have had the brand names taped over. Of course, that quickly became a viral thing.
@tiesyn We all still know those condiments are Heinz 😭😭 #fifa #worldcup #fyp #soccer #trending ♬ original sound – tiesyn
How far is FIFA going with its brand restrictions? The condiments at the Levi’s Stadium press box have all been taped over 😆 pic.twitter.com/YD0Imk2eOP

In Canada, Heinz has joined in the fun. Toronto fans can get their own censored limited time offer HEINZ bottles and sachets packets to take to games in the city. US fans across the country can visit @HeinzCA on Instagram to join the conversation to qualify for one of the censored products.
