Former Real Madrid teammates, David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane have some legendary moments in football between them. Those moments are now immortalised in two pairs of adidas boots to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the adidas Predator.
For Zidane, his ’99 Accelerators have been given a revamp. These paying homage to his 1998 Ballon d’Or win and World Cup success. The boots are gold, but still feature the red tongue over the top of the boot.
For Beckham, adidas has reimagined the 2001 Predator Precision he wore when he sent England to the World Cup Finals with a free-kick at Old Trafford.
And adidas has packed the boots into the 25 Years Of Predator Pack, which contains an on-pitch boot, a trainer, a jersey, a shirt and trousers which throw back to the 2003/04 Los Blancos donned by both Becks and Zidane at the Bernabeu.
Agency, iris, has created the social campaign that will make sure football fans throughout the world know about the pack and desperately desire one.
Some lucky viral amateurs, and a few stars, will get them for free. Included among these is Pogba, whose now famous penalty also won him a personalised message from Beckham himself.
The film will be shared on the adidas football, adidas, and each player’s social channels.
