The London International Awards have been finessed for their 30th anniversary. There are several new categories and The New has been redefined.
2014 was adam&eve/DDB’s year at the LIAs. It won two Grand Prix – one for The Bear and the Hare for John Lewis in TV/Cinema/Online Film and the other for Sorry I spent it on myself for Harvey Nichols in Integration. And it won Agency of the Year.
BBDO won Network of the Year. serviceplan won Independent Agency of the Year. Eardrum won Radio and Audio Company of the Year. MJZ won Production Company of the Year and MPC won Post production Company of the Year.
Is your competitive spirit ignited? This year is the 30th anniversary of the LIAs. So, there will be a lot of extra buzz about who wins what. And there are new categories, which means there will be some inaugural awards (always good to win).
1. A New Director category has been added to TV/Cinema/Online Film – Production and Post-Production:
Entries into the New Director category may be submitted by production companies or any company or individual involved in the project. The requirement for this category is that the Director has directed no more than 6 client-approved and released pieces of work.
2. A Multimedia Campaign category has been added to Integration:
Entries for this category must have at least two different channels/platforms of communication.
3. The NEW has been redefined for 2015:
This category is for “work that attempts to be category defining in and of itself.” To enter The NEW, work must be delivered with a freshness that makes its impact ever more potent.
There will be eleven judging panels presiding over fifteen media. Juries will be composed of approximately 100 top international creatives from agencies, production companies, design houses and technology companies from around the world.
