Basketball mania is running high in France. The Betclic Elite, the top-tier men’s professional basketball league in France, is on – with Nando de Colo, Mike James, Ismael Kamagaté, Dominic Artis…and Victor Wembanyama. All the hype and the array of talent this year has made it impossible to find a seat to attend a game. Only have a few fans have rare opportunities to see Wemby play in Betclic Elite, before his departure for the United States at the end of the season.


Betclic, title partner of the French basketball championship whose promise is to make sport live stronger, and agency, Marcel, are helping more fans attend the last big events of this season. They have released the Betclic Extra Seats, seats created where none existed before – in the corner of a corridor, on a training bike (like a certain Dennis Rodman?), on a folding chair, in the entrance tunnel of the teams…seats even in the most improbable places.
And as these extraordinary seats are priceless, Betclic made them win on its networks. The first ones to take advantage of it were able to attend the duel of titans between Nando de Colo (former San Antonio Spurs player) and Victor Wembanyama on March 14. And given the success of the operation, Betclic has decided to renew it until the Playoffs. “As a title partner, we are delighted with the enthusiasm generated by the Betclic Elite and wanted to offer a new, fun and entertaining experience to basketball fans. An experience in line with our mission to make the sport live stronger,” stated Laurent Burel, marketing director of Betclic.

The next Extra Seats are to be won on the brand’s Instagram account for the Limoges-Boulogne vs. Levallois game on April 15.
